Christians and Muslims - Get to know Islam to understand Muslims better

God has created all men with a free will and given them the freedom to spend their life on earth, according to their own will. You are exempt from God to answer only one question:

“Will you, man, live with God and before His face for eternity or not?”

As for God all people are created freely, equally and endowed with the same rights, as we can read in

Matthew 5:45

for he maketh his sun to rise upon good and bad, and raineth upon just and unjust.

it is self-evident that we as believers also accept and perceive the self-chosen way of life of all people, including Muslims. The Muslims are our neighbors whom we love and cherish, like ourselves.

To achieve this, it is necessary to get into contact to them and to build up a good relationship.

Building a good relationship is only possible if you have dealt with their backgrounds and know them. Several areas must be considered:

Islam as a religion, the tradition of the countries Muslims come from and their form of faith resulting from these two points, that is, the mentality of Muslims, furthermore the Western civilization and cultural values in which they are now living here in the United States of America, Canada, Great Britain, Australia or New Zealand, also have a strong influence on them.

Only by taking all these items into consideration and correctly assessing them it will be possible to better understand Muslims.

In this book, Islam is seen as a world wide recognized religion. The Quran is accepted as the holy book of the Muslims. In no way are the contents of Quran or the Quran itself or the Islamic faith being judged.

The aim of this book is to enable a better understanding of Muslims and their thinking. The background from which they regard us as Christians should be made more understandable. Therefore, many passages in the Quran will be cited which represent the deep rooted faith of Muslims and are for them foundation and orientation.

What is reported and commented are the strongly rooted and deep thoughts of a Muslim from the point of view of a former Muslim. For these remarks, I recalled my thoughts about Jesus and Christianity in those days, so as not to pass on theories and feelings of the Muslims to us theoretically but practically.

There are currently more than 1.8 billion Muslims on earth who, according to the Bible, are our neighbors, whom we love and to whom we should preach the Gospel, which means a happy message.

This can be done better if we know about their beliefs, knowledge and judgments about Jesus and Christianity.

This book will help you to get to know the Islam in order to better understand Muslims.
